I was finally ok'd for Humira over 3 weeks ago. My x-rays had shown a chest infection so when it was cleared I rang the nurse following repeat x-rays and she said they were fine and she would order the Humira and send me a letter. It's now been over 3 weeks and I still haven't heard anything. I was going to ring yesterday but I think I night have another chest infection ThumbDown . Jimmy has had one and now my throat and chest are really sore ThumbDown ThumbDown ThumbDown We have been having the bathroom completely ripped out this week and I don't think the dust has helped me or Jim. Just feel like I will never get on it and depo is starting to wear off now. Dash, damn and blast.

I'm hoping my consultant hasn't vetoed the Humira for any reason as all my DAS assessments were instigated by my physio and a another doctor from the rheumatology ward. I'm wondering whether I should call them just to see what's happening - even though I probably wouldn't be able to start it.

Hi Julie,

This is very frustrating for you. I don't think they would have done the assessments and told you you could have Humira without the consultants say-so.
I think you should give them a ring on Monday to find out what is happening.
Hope your chest gets better, if not you should see your GP on Monday as well!
Try to get lots of rest this weekend,

Love, Doreen xx

Sorry you're having a long wait, it's really frustrating for you. I think you should give them a ring next week.

I hope your chest problem clears up soon. We had a lot of work done on our bathroom and toilet recently, it's amazing where all the muck comes from. I found fingermarks all up and down the bannisters, and all sorts of muck on the doors!
